Radiology technology is the art and science of using radiological imaging techniques to create digital images of patients’ internal structures and organs. There are a variety of options for those who wish to take this path. For those already working in this field but want to take a more comprehensive specialized course, a computed tomography (CT) scanner could be used as a reference. Some schools offer courses in CT for those considering switching to the radiography career. These programs lead to specific certifications at the end of the associate degree program.
